September POM Sourdough Starter & Crispbread Workshop
Have you been wanting to learn about starting a sourdough culture
and working with it to make sourdough bread or crispbreads?
It can be a little daunting to start sourdough bread baking,
so this workshop is designed for beginners
who want to learn how to care for a sourdough starter
and make sourdough crispbreads.
The crispbreads are delicious, nutritious and an easy entry into sourdough!
You will be given your own starter, care instructions,
recipes and be guided to make your own crispbreads.
I will have some hummus ready for afternoon tea.
I love to make sourdough bread and do so each day.
My son Jack gave me some of his culture from San Fransisco
and taught me how to make bread
over 18months ago!
The culture has travelled with me to Sri Lanka,
where I shared bread and crispbread making workshops
with the women at the Women's Development Centre.
I have designed this workshop to get you started with a sourdough culture
and to learn to make sourdough crispbreads.
I plan to have follow up bread making workshops.
I hope you join me and find as much joy in working with sourdough as I do.
