Hi I'm Maree 

No doubt if you are here, you are
worried about yourself or your  family   
and how to make things happier and more harmonious at home

Are you are wanting help to be
happier and more confident in your role as a
mother, daughter or friend
?

 I am a spiritual teacher, mother, secondary teacher and health professional 
with over thirty years experience working with people
in the areas of rehabilitation and education. 

I am working as a
teacher of yoga, spirituality and meditation.
I have been studying the Indian spiritual traditions, including,
Buddhism and yoga for over ten years.

​ I have had fun putting these wise teachings
into practice in my life as a wife, mother, teacher, friend, 
facilitator, public speaker and organiser of events and workshops
to promote wellness, confidence, happiness and peace of mind..  

I have been teaching yoga and a weekly Dharma group for over 4 years. 
Our group meets each week to study Indian spiritual texts and
we share practical ways to apply this wisdom to our daily lives
to promote happiness and meaning.   
I also have fun coordinating a small not for profit business, 
which raises funds for overseas projects, including a rehabilitation centre
and women's refuge in Sri Lanka  

I certainly have not always been in the position
to help others find happiness and meaning in their lives
and I am very thankful to those wonderful wise teachers
who have assisted me in this fun, and at times challenging transformative process. 
 
I would love to share with you,
to help you to find happiness and meaning too. 
 
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and wisdom
with others, in simple practical ways
t
o help promote peace of mind, mindfulness, confidence and connection  

I am passionately dedicated to working with others, to facilitate them
to make positive changes in their lives,
​promoting both physical and emotional well-being. 



I grew up in Melbourne, and was the 'very responsible
and somewhat bossy' eldest sister to two younger brothers.  
I am very grateful to my family for a happy, healthy childhood
and the wonderful opportunities they provided for me.

During my teens I developed some unhelpful habits,
including a whole 'shy, not good enough story' 
which at times involved 
comparing myself to others, unrealistic expectations, unhappiness,
fear of failure academically and low self-confidence.  
I was
often not comfortable nor confident in my own skin
as a teenager and adult.
 


After school I trained as an Occupational Therapist and worked in rehabilitation.  
During this time I married and had a family of four children who are now all adults.
Motherhood has provided me with many challenges and wonderful opportunities.  
At times I found the challenges enormous and without any tools,
I often found myself sad, worried and lacking confidence.
 

And worried about my kids
and not knowing how to help.


I am so thankful for the opportunity to do
teacher training in education, yoga, spirituality and meditation.  
This study and putting it into practice, has equipped me with  some

wonderful practical tools, that have allowed me to
undo unhelpful anxious, sad  habits
and create some helpful happy, confident new ones.


 As a result of this practice, today
I am a  much more confident, happy and connected person
with a real sense of meaning and purpose.
I am more able to ride life's natural ups and downs with
greater grace, confidence and joy.

  I am passionate about sharing what I have been fortunate enough to learn 
to promote your confidence, happiness and peace of mind.

The Four Sessions

Week 1.  Introducing the 3 Foundational Practices
and starting a daily mindfulness meditation practice 

This week we will overview the foundational practices
and begin a daily practice.
this help you to more clearly understand each foundational practice
and gets you in the routine of 
building your confidence, happiness and peace daily 

Week 2.  Gratitude – why and how?
This week we explore the art of daily gratitude -
Gratitude is an essential ingredient of peace of mind so
you will learn a simple but profound practice
to ensure the happiness flows every day.
 

Week 3.  Meditation – why and how?
​This week we explore the art of meditation.  
Meditation is the most powerful way to anchor our mind in the present moment,
which is where true peace lies 

Week 4. Kindness – why and how (including Kindness to us)
​This week we explore the art of kindness.  
Kindness to ourselves and others ensure that our
thoughts, actions and experiences
promote confidence, happiness and peace of mind
