POM YOGA
POM yoga is a mind and body practice that is based on Tibetan Buddhist teachings. POM yoga brings together Tibetan heart yoga practices including meditation, physical asana, pranayama and shavasana, as well as chanting and chakra practices. The practice is comprehensive and provides the opportunity for more freely flowing energy, calm and connection. After studying Buddhism and yoga philosophy for over ten years, I felt the need to develop competence and confidence in becoming a yoga teacher, to share what I have learned. I undertook a Hatha Yoga Teaching Advanced Diploma in 2012 and have been teaching yoga ever since. I think I may be one of the oldest newly qualified yoga teachers around! However, I am grateful for the opportunity to share what I have been taught in Buddhist and yoga philosophy, meditation, hatha yoga, and Tibetan Heart yoga in my regular yoga classes. |
